Date and Place for 13th GfA Meeting Announced

The 13th International Meeting of the Society for Anthropology (Gesellschaft für Anthropologie, GfA) will be held from 23 to 27 September 2019 in Göttingen (Germany).

The guiding theme will be „Weal and Woe – Health and wellbeing from an anthropological perspective“. Contributions from all areas of anthropology and human biology as well as interdisciplinary papers are called for. Papers related to the guiding theme can touch upon adaptations, prevention and history of disease and medicine and on aspects of mental and psychological wellbeing.
