GfA and DGA Start Mutual Membership

On 17 September 2021, the Society for Anthropology (Gesellschaft für Anthropologie, GfA) and the Auxological Society (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Auxologie, DGA) have signed a treaty on mutual corporate membership. As the membership fees for corporate members are identical in both organisations, no charges emerge from this coolaboration.

The DGA is a non-profit organisation founded in 1992 that supports research projects about various aspects of human growth and development, including social, economic and ethnic influences and medical treatment of growth disorders. The DGA has more than 100 members from 25 countries. The society organises annual meetings to discuss current topics of child growth and development, general topics in human biology and related fields.
