The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is looking for a number of Senior Forensic Scientists. Their tasks include communication with government officials and local forensic agencies, development of operational routines and ensuring training of forensic practitioners. Casework is not part oft the positions. Unaccompanied international deployments (i.e. without family members or other dependents) of at least six monts are to be expected. Applicants need to hold at least a Master’s degree or equivalent in relevant sciences including anthropology/archaeology, genetics and molecular biology. They also need to have at least eight years of post-graduate forensic case-work experience.
